Cloud Forests And Amazing Volcanoes

Depart UK – Arrive San Jose Airport to be met by your tour representative on arrival at the airport.
Transfer to your hotel at San Jose.

Travel Through Beautiful Rural Landscapes To Monteverde You will be picked up from your San Jose hotel and travel about 3 ½ hours to Monteverde. The last 35km is a bumpy but beautiful ride on mountain roads.

Rainforest Walk On The Famous Hanging Bridges Of Monteverde Morning pick up at about 8:30 am for an excursion to the Selvatura Rainforest Walkways. These are trails through the cloud forest where you walk over suspension bridges and observe biodiversity high above the canopy of the jungle. It will take you about 2.5 hours to explore the reserve.
In the afternoon you can go on a guided Coffee Tour. You will visit a Coffee Plantation and get to know all about the process of making coffee as well as a chance to taste plenty of the aromatic drink!

Drive And Boat Trip To La Fortuna
After breakfast you will travel up high into themountains
through beautiful cloud forests and stunning landscapes
down to the shores of Lake Arenal.
Cross Lake Arenal by boat while observing magnificent views of the Arenal Volcano. On the other side you will be picked up again by vehicle and travel to La Fortuna, Costa Rica’s most popular sightseeing location.

Guided Trek To View The Arenal Volcano In the morning, you will walk through lush vegetation on the slopes of the colossal Arenal Volcano and take part in a guided tour of its extensive lava fields.

In the afternoon you can either return to San Jose or travel onwards to the nearby beach resorts of the Northern Pacific Gold Coast such as Tamarindo or resorts of the Nicoya Peninsula such as Samara.
Transfers to the Central Pacific are also possible.
