Depart UK – Arrive San Jose Airport to be met by your tour representative on arrival at the airport.

Scenic Drive Through Braulio Carillo National Park To
Tortuguero
Early morning pick up from your hotel in San José. After
a wonderfully scenic drive through Braulio Carrillo
National Park you will stop for a typical breakfast.
Continue your journey through lovely banana
plantations to Caño Blanco where you board a boat for a
transfer through idyllic waterways to arrive at your
jungle lodge in time for lunch.
The Tropical Village Of Tortuguero
In the afternoon you can either choose to relax at your
lodge or visit the tropical village of Tortuguero and the
Caribbean Conservation Center, dedicated to the
protection of the endangered sea turtles.
Night Excursion To The Beach At Tortuguero To See
Turtles Nesting
Between July and September, you can take part in an
optional night walk on the beach in order to observe sea
turtles laying their eggs in the sand.

Boat Tours Through The Backwater Channels Of
Tortuguero National Park
Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to
observe birds and animals in the rainforest. Depending
on the Lodge, you can enjoy an early-morning or
afternoon boat tour. A pre-breakfast nature walk is
offered by Mawamba Lodge and is a great opportunity
to experience the sights and sounds of a forest waking
up to a glorious sunrise.

Barcelo Palma Real
After breakfast you will return to Caño Blanco by boat and continue by coach to Guápiles, where lunch will be served. Crossing Braulio Carrillo National Park you will arrive at San José by approximately 5.00 pm.

Alternately You can choose to travel onwards to either Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui or to La Fortuna to continue touring Costa Rica.
Transfer to San Jose Airport or a beach hotel of your choice for any number of nights as required.
From San Jose the Gold Coast beach resorts of the Northern Pacific are easily reached by vehicle transfer or internal flights. A 2 hour road journey takes you to the Central Pacific resorts of Jaco, Quepos and Manuel Antonio.
NOTE: You can choose as many beach nights as you require.
NOTE: Depending on the location of your beach hotel and flight timings a stopover night at San Jose may be necessary prior to your departure.
Depart Costa Rica – Daytime flights arrive back in UK the next day.
